OFS SessionGamma
OFS SessionGamma draws the three world trading sessions - Tokyo, London and New York - as rectangles on your ATAS chart: side edges exactly on the first and last bar of each session, top and bottom on the session high and low with a configurable tick offset. Each session is anchored to its own city clock, so daylight-saving changes are handled automatically and switching the display time zone never moves a rectangle. Every session can also draw its open and close prices as labelled reference lines, each with its own colour, style and width. Optionally it adds three key options levels from your own GEXBot account: Zero Gamma (yellow), Gamma Positive (green) and Gamma Negative (red). Alerts and Telegram messages for session opens and closes, Zero Gamma crossings, wall moves and data-feed problems are included and switched off by default.

Almost ready for your charts
OFS SessionGamma is built and measured — it is just not in the shop yet, so there is no price and no Add to cart to look for on this page.
Everything you see here is already true — the rules it follows, the numbers it produced and the warnings that come with them. Have a read now and decide later: the moment it goes on sale, the license options and the free trial appear right here.

Description
OFS SessionGamma answers two simple questions directly on the chart: WHERE in the trading day are we, and WHERE do the key dealer-gamma levels sit right now. It draws no signals and places no orders.
WORLD SESSIONS AS RECTANGLES
Tokyo, London and New York are each drawn as a rectangle per trading day. The left and right edges sit exactly on the first and the last bar of the session; the running session grows live with every new bar. The top edge sits above the session high and the bottom edge below the session low by a configurable offset in ticks, and the high/low stretch in real time as the session makes new extremes. A finished session never changes again.
Every session is anchored to the clock of ITS OWN city. Default hours are the regular exchange sessions: Tokyo 09:00-15:00 Tokyo time, London 08:00-16:30 London time, New York 09:30-16:00 New York time - all editable, including sessions that run across midnight. Because the anchor is the city clock, summer and winter time are applied automatically per bar, and the rectangles stay correct even in the weeks when America and Europe switch their clocks on different dates. The Time Zone setting changes only how times are written in the panel; it never moves anything on the chart.
EVERYTHING ON THE CHART IS EDITABLE
Each session has its own on/off switch, fill colour, border colour, border width and border style, plus a label that can carry your own text and sit in any of the four rectangle corners. Transparency is part of every colour through its alpha value - there are no separate opacity sliders. A shared setting controls how many past rectangles are painted per session.
Each session can also draw its OPEN and CLOSE prices as horizontal reference lines, switched on separately and off by default. Each line has its own colour, its own style (solid, dashed or dotted), a shared per-session width and a label that reads the session name, OPEN or CLOSE and the price. The open line starts at the session open and the close line at the session close, and both run forward until the same session opens again - so yesterday's New York close is still on the chart as a reference right up to today's New York open. A running session shows only its open line, because its close does not exist yet. Line labels can sit at the start, in the middle or at the end of the line, and the line is always broken around its label instead of being struck through it.
GAMMA LEVELS FROM YOUR OWN GEXBOT ACCOUNT (OPTIONAL)
With your own GEXBot Classic API key entered, SessionGamma draws up to three key options levels as horizontal lines: Zero Gamma - the flip level above which dealer gamma is positive (moves get damped) and below which it is negative (moves get amplified); Gamma Positive - the strongest positive gamma strike of today's volume, the level today's flow leans on as a brake; and Gamma Negative - the strongest negative gamma strike, where hedging accelerates the move instead of braking it. The open-interest variants of both walls are available as additional dotted lines and are off by default. Colour, width, style and the label position are set for each level separately.
Data is pulled directly from the GEXBot v2 Classic API once per second per the current API limit, with a one-second request timeout and automatic respect for HTTP Retry-After. Stale data is drawn dimmed and named in the panel; a rejected key, rate limit, timeout or server failure becomes a named state instead of silence. Direct, Basis and Ratio price mapping places the levels on your chart scale, with Auto choosing from the relationship between chart price and GEXBot spot. Labels carry the level name, its price and the distance from the live price in ticks, and an enabled level that sits off-screen is reported with an arrow at the chart edge.
ALERTS AND TELEGRAM
Six events can be reported, all off by default: a session opened, a session closed (with its open, high, low and close), price crossed Zero Gamma, Gamma Positive moved, Gamma Negative moved, and the options data stopped arriving. Alerts play any sound the platform offers, including your own files in its Sounds folder, and the same events can go to your Telegram with two one-click buttons that fill in the chat id and send a test message. Replaying history or recalculating after a settings change never fires an alert, and a per-event cooldown keeps a repeated state from becoming noise.
PANEL, NOTICES AND LICENCE
The optional panel shows each session's open/closed state with today's hours in your selected time zone, the GEXBot connection state and age, spot versus chart price, the active mapping and the current level prices. The panel is off by default and its background colour, position and offsets are yours to set. Error notices - missing or rejected licence, a rejected GEXBot key, an empty custom ticker, waiting for the first answer, stale or interrupted data - have their own switch and their own position, so a hidden panel never hides a problem. A simply missing GEXBot key is not an error and never nags: the sessions do not need it.
The indicator needs a licence key from your orderflowsmith.com account. It is verified locally, no connection is required while trading, and without a valid key nothing is drawn, no alert is sent and GEXBot is never contacted.
Installation guide
2. Open or fully restart ATAS so the automatically delivered indicator becomes available in the indicator catalogue. Whenever an update is released through ATAS, fully restart the platform; ATAS downloads and loads the new version automatically.
3. Only if the OrderFlowSmith and ATAS e-mails are different, download OFS.SessionGamma.dll from your OrderFlowSmith account and install it manually: %APPDATA%\ATAS\Indicators for classic ATAS or %APPDATA%\ATAS X\Indicators for ATAS X. After every update, download and replace the DLL manually, then fully restart ATAS. If Windows blocked the file, open DLL Properties and select Unblock.
4. Add OFS SessionGamma to a chart and paste your licence key into 01 - License. The three session rectangles appear immediately with the default exchange hours.
5. Adjust the sessions in groups 07-09 (hours are entered in each city's own local time; open and close lines, their colours, styles and labels are here too) and the shared rectangle look in 06 - Sessions.
6. For the gamma levels, paste your own GEXBot API key under 02 - API - GEXBot and pick the ticker that matches your chart: NQ_NDX for NQ/MNQ, ES_SPX for ES/MES. Leave Price Mapping on Auto initially. The key requires a paid GEXBot plan with Classic API access; without a key the levels simply stay off.
7. Temporarily enable 11 - Panel - Show Panel and confirm the session hours read correctly in your selected Time Zone and, if you use GEXBot, that the state says CONNECTED.
8. Optional: switch on the events you want in 12 - Alerts and, for Telegram, follow the four steps in 13 - Telegram (token from @BotFather, write to your bot, Get Chat ID Now, Send Test Message).
9. Treat STALE, RATE LIMITED, TIMEOUT, NO ANSWER or API KEY REJECTED as a reason to verify the GEXBot feed before using any displayed level.
Changelog — version 1.2.0
LICENCE. The indicator now uses the standard OFS licence key (product code SG) in the new group 01 - License, verified locally and re-checked while the chart stays open. Without a valid key nothing is drawn, no alert is sent and GEXBot is never contacted; the panel footer shows the licence state.
EVERY LINE IS NOW EDITABLE. The single Open/Close Lines switch has been split into a separate Open Line and Close Line per session, each with its own colour, its own style (solid, dashed or dotted) and a label reading the session name, OPEN or CLOSE and the price. Line width is now set per session, the rectangle border has a style as well, and the session name can carry your own text (Label Text) in any of the four rectangle corners (Label Position). Every gamma level got a style of its own, the open-interest walls default to dotted, and level labels have their own position and font size. Labels never strike through their line: the line is broken around them.
PLEASE NOTE: because the old Open/Close Lines switch was split in two, saved charts do not carry it over - switch Open Line and Close Line on again where you want them, and set the new per-session Line Width.
ALERTS AND TELEGRAM, ALL OFF BY DEFAULT. Six events can be reported: a session opened, a session closed (with its open, high, low and close), price crossed Zero Gamma, Gamma Positive moved, Gamma Negative moved, and the options data stopped arriving. Alerts use any sound the platform offers, including your own files; Telegram is set up with the two usual one-click buttons. History and recalculation never fire an alert, and a per-event cooldown keeps a repeated state quiet.
PANEL AND NOTICES. Panel background is now a colour with transparency shared by the panel, the data-age badge and the notices, and error notices have their own switch, position and offsets - so a hidden panel no longer hides a problem. A panel that is switched on is now always drawn, even before the first GEXBot answer and with no GEXBot key at all, because the session rows and the licence footer are worth showing on their own; a notice appears next to it rather than instead of it. Fixed: with the panel off, a rejected GEXBot key produced no message at all. A simply missing GEXBot key still never nags, because the sessions work without it.
FIXED. Changing a colour, width, offset, Sessions Back or any other display setting now redraws the chart content immediately instead of waiting for the next bar or data poll. Settings no longer restart the data client while a saved chart is still loading. An empty Custom ticker is reported instead of silently falling back to NQ_NDX. Selecting a manual time-zone offset now refreshes the Time Zone field in the settings grid at once.
The deterministic regression suite grew from 108 to 161 checks and now also replays a full minute-by-minute week across the March 2026 daylight-saving split, where America is already on summer time and Europe is not, verifying every session open, close, segment length and the determinism of a full recalculation.
1.1.0 - SESSION OPEN AND CLOSE PRICE LINES.
Each session can now draw its open and close prices as horizontal reference lines in the session's own Border Color - switched on per session in groups 07-09 and OFF by default. The open line starts at the session open, the close line at the session close, and both run forward until the same session opens again, so yesterday's close stays visible as a reference right up to today's open. A running session shows only its open line, because its close does not exist yet. A shared Open/Close Line Width setting in 06 - Sessions controls the thickness.
The regression suite grew to 108 deterministic checks, now also covering the captured open and close of every session segment, including live-bar ticks and recalculation resets.
1.0.0 - FIRST RELEASE.
Three world trading sessions - Tokyo, London and New York - drawn as rectangles: side edges exactly on the first and last bar of each session, top and bottom on the session high and low with a configurable tick offset, the running session growing live. Each session is anchored to its own city clock, so American and European daylight-saving switches are handled automatically per bar, and the display Time Zone setting never moves a rectangle. Per-session on/off, hours (entered in the city's local time, midnight-crossing supported), fill colour, border colour, border width and label; a shared control for how many past rectangles are painted.
Optional gamma levels from your own GEXBot Classic API account: Zero Gamma (yellow), Gamma Positive (green) and Gamma Negative (red), with the open-interest variants available and off by default. One request per second with Retry-After respected, named connection states, dimmed stale data, Direct/Basis/Ratio price mapping with a stable Auto choice, and labels with price and tick distance.
